How long do you stay for?
This depends on what package you choose.
If you choose to include the morning bridal/groom preparation session then as early as you like! This could be any way that you decide to prepare for your big day, a dawny surf session, a round of golf etc..
If you don’t choose to have the morning preparation photos I would arrive in plenty of time before the service right through to and including the first dance.
If you choose photo booth/evening party session I will stay till you kick me out!
How many photos do we actually get?
Between 250-350 photographs
Are the photos in colour or in black and white?
My style on the whole is a mixture of (timeless) black and white and of colour to show the vibrancy of your big day (as you can see from my portfolio). I will select which processing brings the best out of each photograph.
Can we print the images ourselves?
Yes. You have printing rights which means you can print the photographs as many times as you want and do with them what you please.
Do we get copyright to the images?
No. Copyright remains with Chris Price Photography unless otherwise agreed. This allows me to use the photographs for promotional purposes. If there are particular photographs that you would not like me to use, just say and that will be no problem.
Can we get copies of the images that you don’t process?
There is normally a good reason for some photographs being left out people blinking, duplicates etc. If however there is an important person missing from the final selection I will happily go look for them through the hard drive. I archive for 3 months after the wedding.
Will you come for a pre wedding view of the venue?
If I have not been to the venue you before, then I try my best to visit before ceremony to get a feel for the place. This might be either visiting the venue before the wedding (maybe with you guys for an engagement/pre-wedding shoot!) or in plenty of time on the big day before things kick off!
Will we get copies of the engagement/pre wedding shot?
Yes. It will take me about 2 weeks to fully process the photographs. So depending how long before the big day they are taken will depend on whether you get them before the wedding. If completed in plenty of time there are lots of different things that could be done with them:
- Some people like to use them in their wedding invitation/ save the date cards.
- The photographs could also be made into a guest book with space for friend and family to write special words on the day.
- A book of the photographs also makes a personal and well received gift to the parents of either the bride or groom.
